MK_headshotPerformer, writer, designer and entrepreneur, Myron Krystopher Florence, respectively called Myron Krys, has been blessed with multiple talents. Performing has been a part of his life from a very early age. As with most children, he began his endeavors, singing in his church choir and playing musical instruments at school as well as acting in school plays. While away in school at Oberlin College, he became Minister of Music at a local church there as well as the President of Agape Christian Fellowship, one of the school organizations on campus. During his time there, he was able to sing before students from around the globe who remarked that they “never heard anyone do Praise and Worship like him.”

His sound and singing ability has afforded Myron Krys the opportunity to sing with multiple events and added with his acting ability,permitted him to be in the hit play, “Love Don’t Live Here Anymore,” with “Madea’s Family Reunion”actress, Zakiya Williams, Terrell Phillips and Lil’ G, formerly of the groups, Black Street and Silk.

Myron Krys has shared the stage with such legendary gospel artists as Dorothy Norwood and Helen Baylor and has done background vocals for many local artists in metro Atlanta, in both studio and live sessions. March 2006 marked the release of his first solo project entitled “Myron Krys” with original material, penned by himself. His desire is that his music, “engage, encourage, and uplift your spirit.”

Yes, Myron Krys is a very gifted man with a bright future ahead of him. Though there are many things that he does and does well, he tries to pace himself and take it, “day by day” taking the approach that quality is better than quantity. Thus, through further education and utilizing all of his resources, he is continually honing his skills. Throughout all of this, Myron Krys still finds time to remain active in his local church body and is persistently using his creativity to find more ways to expose his God-given talent to the masses.
